Eurogamer has just released some very exciting news for fans of Portal, Team Fortress 2, and having fun. Valve has told Eurogamer that there will be more Portal, and that the new maps for Team Fortress 2 will be free to all console owners of the Orange Box.
Lombardi states, "there'll be more Portal, for sure. But the details of that, to be honest, we're still working out." Those details need to be worked out faster.
In addition, Lombardi says that the new maps coming to the PC version of Team Fortress 2, will be released for free on both consoles. They will come as downloadable packs.
On the subject of Episode 3, Lombardi said, "exact details on what's next for Gordon are a way off; probably months not weeks." That wait sounds like it's only for the first preview of Episode 3, with a release date that might be even longer.
There might also not be another "Orange Box" for Episode 3. The only reason that there was an Orange Box for Episode 2 was because a number of other titles were finishing up at around the same time. This may not happen with Episode 3. All of this, and more, over at Eurogamer.
