Left 4 Dead this Summer

According to an article at Shacknews, Valve has told them that Left 4 Dead has been pushed back from a Q1 release to a late Summer release. Instead of looking forward to it in the next few months, get ready for it in either August or September.



Personally, I dislike delays - but hey, it gives me a chance to hopefully (fingers crossed) build my desktop computer finally. That, and it's not that terrible of a delay - it isn't a ten year wait like some other game out there!

There was never any official release date to begin with... Sooo, there's no delay.



If you want to take it as there being one, then it's probably because the game isn't done yet.

Q1 sounded more like a prediction for business reasons, they just aren't on track to finish by then, so late summer isn't really a date either, I wouldn't be surprised if we see it comes out later.

Yeah, it technically isn't a delay as there was no firm date for it - they just pushed back the release window for the game, really. No reason was given that I could find.
