"We are what we pretend to be"? Did he really say that? What a load of crock.

Apparently everyone who's ever played a murderer in a movie should go to REAL jail, because he pretended to be a murderer, so he really is one.

Oh yeah, and video games caused world war one, because violence can't exist without a video game to cause it.

Where this guy comes up with such nonsense is beyond me.

There is some merit in saying that video games do cause a rush of aggression and testosterone (especially first person shooters), but that simply does not and cannot make a nonviolent person violent.

I will put a disclaimer that such games shouldn't be played by teenagers. The game's rated M. Your 13 year old shouldn't be playing it no matter how much he begs. That's where the real problem is. 9 year olds shouldn't be playing CS. Nobody under the age of 18 should be playing CS or other violent fps games. That I can stand behind. Games that require proof of age to purchase shouldn't be bought for children under that age. Yes, a parent should be able to determine whether their child is mature enough to play the game...but most parents don't even try, they just give the kid what they ask for.

But anything else is a load of nonsense.

Totally agree with you man... Parents need to step up a bit and tell their kids no... This doesn't go for FPS games, if your look at MMORPG (I.E. WoW), its not a good place to shove you little 14 year old kid... We arn't that friendly on there and it might not be now a days but there is punty of Weapon and guns in that type of game.

The rating is there for a reason and more places need to start card and stop being a bunch of wussie and saying it will ruin their sales... You never know if that game you just sold to that 14 year old kid is going to do something we can't think of...
