    Portal's portals in Half-Life 2

Aching for a little Portal action in Half-Life 2? Well, you shall ache no longer! Thanks to the kind souls at Primotech, you now have detailed instructions on how to add Portal's portal ability to Half-Life 2!

There are some obvious limitations, and a few bugs here and there. This is the price you'll have to pay for something as amazingly awesome as this!

Tbh, I expect the portal gun to play heavily in episode three, given the fact that you are researching that Judith possibly found the 'aperture' ship / dry dock that dissapeared.

Dark, that spoiler is true and it's a theory I've been spreading too since I finished both games....especially as there are toooonns of "Black Mesa" references in Portal....

....however I'm currently downloading GCFScape in order to test my theory that it will also work in CS:S! If I can get it to work on my clan server, I will literally cream my pants ^^

Bah, just realised that you need to run Portal to play the maps, not CS:S. So I guess that as Portal isn't multiplayer (yet!) then it won't work online.

It's kinda worthless. You're HP regenerates, audio files are messed up, and you have to use impulse 101 to get the portal gun... which also gets you all the other guns in the game, so you can't exactly play through like you would normally - you know, just with the portal gun. Anyway, it'd be sweet if you could find a way of importing the portal gun into HL2, rather than importing the HL2 maps into portal.

            Great idea though.
