CSProMod At the end of the Month

Fans awaiting the release of the CS1.6 conversion to the Source engine, CSPromod, won't have much longer to wait.
We're able to officially confirm that we'll be releasing the first open version of CSPromod at the end of the month, as promised in a number of interviews and press releases. We don't have an exact date set as of yet, but we can definitively say that the waiting will soon be over. You'll be able to get your hands on CSP sometime within the next few weeks.
September and October is shaping up nicely for new releases. Now all we'll need is the release of Black Mesa Source.

Yeah, not sure why I sat on the news. Probably since there was all that TF2 stuff, this have been drowned out.

When Rizzuh used to sit on news, it just wasn't the same anymore.

I might try this mod out. I think competitive CS is much easier without all the detail that Source has; less distractions make it easier.

That, and better netcode, no barrels to push against you, and firing patterns that are consistent.

I've gotten used to source as almost a different game then 1.6, this mod should be cool. I just want all the maps from 1.6 to be in source, it seems like all that anyone plays is office and dust2.
