The CPL announced that it will hold two 64-team Counter-Strike tournaments at the CPL Extreme Winter Championships, scheduled to take place Tuesday, December 18 to Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Dallas, Texas.Let me repeat the prize winnings. That is $50,000 up for grab in these tournaments!
The two $50,000 five-versus-five tournaments will feature both Counter-Strike: Source and Counter-Strike 1.6.
The winning teams of the Counter-Strike:Source and 1.6 tournaments will then face each other in a final (on stage) match to determine the 2007 Counter-Strike World Champion. The final match will be held on Nuke, Dust 2, and CPL Mill.
