Making CS Strategies The Easy Way

Community member, ThePhaige, has informed us of a neat little tool clans can use to plan out their strategies without having to hop into the game to do so. The tool is appropriately titled CSStrat, and it does require a small download.

You simply build your movements on a map overview, adding nades and flashes , and all your teams movement. Then you can view it back as a movie within the program itself or save as an avi. to send to clanmates or post on video hosting sites.

The latest version (2.2.1), just came out the other day. Go ahead, give it a go!

I remember seeing and trying to use this.



IMO Photoshop is easier. Just grab the VTF plugin for Photoshop, extract the map layout (There's a radar version and a non-radar version for official maps) from the .gcf, and splash colored lines and text on it to explain the strat. Then go over it in game.



It sounds complicated, but it's not really.
