Actually no, I did start Far Cry through Steam. If you don't start a game through Steam, you cannot use the overlays.



Anyway I dunno why it worked for me and not you, Bokuho. It's just random glitches that are expected from a Beta. For example, the overlays work fine in Quake Wars for my friend but they don't work for me. All this still will no doubt be ironed out in time.
