FYI: Half of my family is from the USA and i didnt mean it like that but its again typical that it's always americans that have a problem with things like this. In so many games even Europeans are going down like BF2: Euro forces and I dont care, its a game and it alwasy has been games and if you dont like it just dont play it, simple.

Don't they take swastikas out of video games in germany?

Germany, from what I've read, does quite a lot to tone down violence and/or Nazi-related images in their country. Perhaps it's a bit of an overreaction at this point, but a country that's led the world into war twice has right to be sensitive about such things imho.

well, let's say so, i can understand your point (i mean all of you) but tihs discuss isn't really useful, not even meaningful. I AM GERMAN !!!!

after that "out-coming" the first i wnt to say is: I AM NO NAZI.

but as for me, i have a big problem to shoot german soldiers in WW2 games because nobody of them was responsable for the war....

and i hate the AUSTRIAN hitler for sending my gtrandfather into war, where he died for senseless and idiotic ideas of a megalomanian dictator.

but nevertheless, i hate it to kill german soldiers, even in a game, because it is against my attitude towards my country.....

and by the way, our censorship concerning national socialism is the hardest in the world. every "swastika" (we tell it "Hakenkreuz") and every symbol, what only could remind somebody in the world of this terrible time is removed from games from pictures, videos....

recently, in a german museum there was a complaint about a chinese carpet on which was a swastika (in china a sign for all fortune of the world). a german citizen complained about it because it made him remember of the nazis.

but to get back to the problem:

i really can understand you, when you have problems to shoot american soldiers, even in a game (i repeat myself) but, when you have such a problem, then play it on the marines side or stop playing it....there is absolutely no other possibility.

the last thing i want to add is that i don't kill these game figures because they are not german. i kill them, because it is necessary to kill them for winning the COMPETION, the GAME.



ps: i apologize for my mistakes concerning the language, but may be you know how difficult it is to write in a foreign language
