All Three Orange Boxes Revealed

We've already seen the Orange Box design for the 360, but now you can see it for all three platforms (PC, PS3, and 360).

The full sized images are quite large. The Orange Box is still slated for an October 9, 2007 release date. It will include Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. Enjoy the cover art!

"The Black Box" sounded so cool. Then again, it's also the name for the thing on airplanes.



Orange fits the whole Half-Life theme, but so does black. Black and orange should've stayed :|

I think Valve likes the term "Box" for obvious sexual connections.



An orange box just does not sound quite so hot though.

I'm sure if steam sells the games individually episode 2, portal and tf2 will be around 20$ each, which would mean that hl2 and episode 1 are just a bonus to getting the package.

Well, it looks better than a simple orange box... So nice job for bothering to put SOMETHING on the freaking box EA (or does VALVe design these things while the publishers duplicate the boxes?)... Still, the mock box art done by unpaid amateurs looks far more superior and much more worthy of my shelf space than uh... Three pictures. I can't seem to find the links to the mock box art pictures though. I think Zips posted the links in the comments for the previous box art newspost? Can't remember...

I suppose everyone knows what it is though, they dont need a flashy box to lure people in. Everyone will buy this.

It doesn't have to be fancy to look good either. It just needs to be totally redone, in an appealing way. This isn't 1996. We have the ability to make things more attractive now..
