Defcon and Uplink Bundle Deal

CVG has the scoop on a nifty little package deal for an upcoming retail release of Introversion's Defcon.



On June 15th, for a price of £19.99 you get not one, but two games. In addition to Defcon, another of Introversion's games, Uplink, will be included.



Defcon is a game of global thermonuclear war (whoo!), and Uplink is a game that tests your ability to hack into rival computer systems. Introversion has some of the best ideas for games I've ever seen.

devgruseal: uplink is like 10 bucks on steam and defcon is like 15 on steam I think. I've never played uplink so I can't vouch if it's worth more or less than Longest Journey.

Uplink has its moments. There is an ingame chat to talk with other 'hackers' and there is usually quite a few on (there were about 20 the last time I was on). The main point I appriciate is how little CPU usage Uplink takes up and yet remains entertaining. You have the quicker intense moments but at any moment can walk away without any penalty in game. I can play it, watch youtube and type papers all at once:).
