There hasn't been too much in the way of new updates this week. At least, no news updates that you guys would particularly care about, what with you being die-hard CS fans and all. However, there was some news that the Valve crew felt needed posting, and the following is the fruits of their labor for this week's news update.
This week IGN ran a multi day feature covering all of the games coming in the Orange box this fall. There are stories devoted to Episode Two, Team Fortress 2, and Portal that have a bunch of new information about the games in them. Definitely a must-read if you're planning on picking up the box.Yes, the Insurgency crew does need to hurry up and release this mod to the public! As for me, I'll have to apologize in advance if the news from me is a little late in coming. This is because I'm not at home all this week, but a few states away in good ol' Indiana!
In Source MOD news, it looks like the Insurgency team is getting close to releasing the first version of their game. From the beginning, this looked like one of the more interesting and ambitious MODs in development, and the screenshots look absolutely stunning. They are planning on shipping sometime next month, head over to their site to tell them to hurry up.
