Black Mesa Media Release

The crew behind the most anticipated Source mod, Black Mesa, have released a ton of new media to the public.

In addition, we have some more shots of Residue Processing, new shots of the multiplayer map Rapidcore, and a Bullsquid animation video, showcasing some of this Xenian's animations.

A few samples of the new media can be seen below. In addition to the new media, the Black Mesa team has two new job opportunities, including a programmer and an effects artist. This mod is looking amazing! Let's hope they announce a release date soon.

Yeah, I'd like to second Thortok2000's comment - to me, this is by far the most anticipated mod for the Source engine. For a few reasons, partly because the standard of work is so excellent, it'll be a full-length game, and it's a great new look at a classic adventure. It makes you wonder, though, what else this obviously talented team could accomplish had they set out to do something more original. But don't get me wrong - I am by no means demeaning the team. Valve must be very flattered to have such a group of talent reworking their game to such perfection.

i cant effin wait! i've been wanting this since i first saw a half-life2 screenshot. i've always wondered how much more awesome hl1 would be sourced to perfection... looks like this team is delivering many a hl fans dream. great job to all involved.
