    Price Reduction on Eidos Games

A number of Eidos games on Steam have received some tasty price reductions tonight. You can either follow the previous link for the list of games or keep on reading.

In addition to the price reductions, a new collection of Eidos games has been announced today. The Eidos WWII Collection contains Battlestations: Midway, Commandos: Strike Force, and Commandos 3: Destination Berlin. The pack is on sale until May 29th for $47.95 (Regular: $59.95).[break="Eidos games with a price reduction"]

When I came on the boat to America, I was pretty sure that I had the right to pay $49.99 for a video game. This kind of price reduction destroys the true meaning of "Gaming."

Developers (developers! developers!) are crapping in our houses and we're picking it up. Did we lose a war? That's not America! That's not even Mexico!

If you're gonna get Deus Ex: Invisible War, pay the extra $5 and get the original with it. Sure, the graphics are a bit dated, but it's a phenomenal game that everyone should have an opportunity to play.

I'm tempted to pick up Hitman: Blood Money at that price... I've loved the series up to this point, despite it's shortcomings.

The only other noteworthy point from that list is the fact that Project Snowblind dropped to $10... and that's not even an old game. I only played the demo, and found it to be mildly diverting but ultimately not worth spending my time on. Apparently sales have reflected my opinion on this matter, ouch.

Hitman: Blood Money is just a gorgeous game, pretty to look at, and awesome to hear. It's one of those games where you can play over and over and over, because there's just an endless amount of ways to finish a level.
