-I play CS 1.6, in spite of the ads

-I play CZ

-I play CS:S

-I play more than one version of CS

-I no longer play CS but I play other Valve/Source games

-I don't know why I'm even visiting this website anymore

I'd vote 'play CS:S', it's the only version of CS I play, since I never got CZ and don't know what it's like.

CSNation used to turn tricks for five cents but they had to raise the price after losing funding from GameSpy, but no one wanted to pay higher prises, so the economy buckled and the only thing CSN does now is host websites such as Barney's World which hasn't been updated in nearly 3 years so we are all just left to assume that he died a horrible death involving poodles and mustard.



Also I miss Arctic Joe.

I took a look for old times sake and god.....it reminded me that cs_thunder was in the game once. If ever there was a map that should never have been removed from the maplist it was Thunder....a tragedy.

MikeJ nice to see you popping in every now and again. :) That was quite frankly hilarious, and all-too-true of my current situation, lol.



Was cs_thunder was the one with the 2-level dam and the generator room and that hostage slaughter / control panel room? If so, I had some fun rounds on it, but I can't really claim it was a good map. Much like de_storm (and to a lesser extent de_torn). I really miss playing all those old maps though, and my inability to find a server with real human players playing any of my old favorite maps (anything other than dust2/aztec/office and a handful of other 24/7 evils) is in my opinion what has resulted in my current inactivity and waning interest in CS.



Other mod news is definitely a plus, especially when filterable. I'd also love to see a suggestion box, where our members could put ideas for articles and other such features. I'm sure this community has some great ideas just floating around, waiting to be captured.
