Yeah, I'm so completely tired of my shots missing.



I shoot, I actually SEE THEM FLINCH, and at the end of the round it says I didn't hit anyone.



Unloading a whole clip and not hitting with a single bullet is really frustrating. I don't expect to hit with like 70% of my bullets when I'm spraying, but to not hit with 100% of them is pointless.



Shooting first, and getting 2-3 shots off before they even turn to look at you, and to have them not die and not even be WOUNDED... Also very annoying.



And, like the poster above me said, to think you're safely behind cover just to die and notice that your corpse is not behind cover is also really annoying.



100 tick servers play a lot better than other servers, and setting my rates a certain way helps ME when I'm trying to shoot others, but then those others say I'm rate hacking and lagging on their screen... It's a lose-lose situation. To my limited, novice understanding, I've set my rates for what works for me: My bullets hit, and when I'm behind cover, I'm behind cover, and my ping is under 20. I'm told I'm lagging by others, teleporting across their screen.



So honestly I don't really know what to do anymore. I turned cl_restrict off, and just let the servers set my rates to whatever, and now it's back to my bullets not hitting again, with average ping of 50-70. *shrug*

He's making it like everyone experiences lag, and that this mass lag fest is ignored because people aren't "good." That's a load of BS and only holds true for a handful of people who actually experience this apparent long standing lag he's mentioning.

What is this "Long term lag" you are talking about? The source lag issues, aren't like what we are used to with high latency. I'm imagining you've read many of the posts regarding this? Oh well, tbh it doesn't matter, it's getting fixed, drop it.
