Another week, another Steam news update. This one makes mention of CS-Nation's own peagle! Wait, scratch that. Apparently it's Peggle, a new game from PopCap that is now available on Steam. Just what you wanted, wasn't it?

Peggle, the best-selling new game from PopCap, has recently been added to Steam. Here at the Valve offices, the game's "Extreme Fever" music can be heard reverberating in the hallways. In the words of its creators: "What is Peggle? It's a metaphor for life, really." Click here to try your hand at the one-hour free trial.



In other news, Silverfall, the new Action RPG from French developer Monte Cristo, is being made available for pre-purchase on Steam today. Try out the free demo and decide whether your character will fight on the side of nature or technology.



Many of us are away at the Game Developers Conference this week, scouting for new great games to bring to Steam. Speaking of which, stay tuned for an announcement next week about a major new publisher catalog coming your way.

where's the new css update? where are the fixes? the new hdr maps? the cz models that were promised?



this update isn't worth writing about.

I hope game companies hoping to save a few bucks by using Steam as their delivery mechanism are paying attention to the distrust that gamers have toward Valve and Steam-delivered content.
