  • Painkiller on Steam

Straight out of the "where the hell did this come from" department, comes the news that Painkiller Gold is now on Steam.
Stranded in a place between Heaven and Hell, your time of judgment is at hand. The Underworld is on the verge of unholy war, and you are but a pawn in the infernal battle. As you fight for your purification, the truths behind the deceptions are revealed.
The Gold edition includes the original game, Painkiller, and its expansion, Battle Out of Hell. I have personally played the original title. If you enjoy non-stop shooting and you have the itchiest of itchy trigger fingers, this game is for you. If I remember correctly, my hand started cramping up at one point in the game. To those interested in trying before you buy, you're in luck.

Oh, and we aren't dead. There just hasn't been any news this past week. Hm, HeLLy and I seem to be posting news at the same time. What sort of madness is this?!

$17.95 for the original and the expansion. Pretty damn good.

Great game, needs the high frame rates that most PCs can get on it now.

Painkiller is my second favorite first person shooter. It's the best pure arcade shooter. It's basically Doom/Quake/Serious Sam for last generation of systems (they're working on a painkiller 2 I believe).

Painkiller was terrible. I found it to be incredibly boring.
