Half-Life 2 Orange and Black Pricing Revealed

I guess I somehow missed the announcement of Half-Life 2: Black, but at least we had the Orange covered! The color name scheme is getting to be a bit exhausting. We have Gold, Silver, and Bronze to start with. Now we've moved onto Orange and Black? Hot Pink is next up, mark my words.

Anyway, it seems as though IGN has the skinny on the pricing details for the Orange package and the Black package for the PC and console versions of the Episode 2 package deals.
    • Black (PC only) - $39.99 - HL2: Episode 2, Team Fortress 2, & Portal

    • Orange (PC, 360, & PS3) - $59.99 - Half-Life 2, HL2: Ep 1, HL2: Ep 2, Team Fortress 2, & Portal
Now, if Valve were truly awesome, they'd put the "Orange" labeled package inside a black box, and the "Black" package in an orange box on the shelves. Hilarity would most certainly ensue.

I'm sure the PS3 and the 360 versions will surpass the PC in terms of graphics and so forth.

The intensity of sarcasm in that sentence was waaay out there baby.

lol well, the 360 does have dx10, just not the raw processing power.

and the PS3 still hasn't even shown half it's potential yet with respect to graphics.

Colors...yeah yeah, great. I like Blue. How about release date. When can we expect this to be available? That's news; this isn't.

You'd think Microsoft (of all people) would spend a wee-bit more on the processor. So a couple of millions lost, the CEO's shoe shiner practically wipes his ass with 100 dollar bills. It'll look a littler better than the XB1 version obviously, but let's see the "potential" power of the Piss-S3.

Pricing seems fair. All I want is EPI2 and TF2 =D

Let's start taking bets now on how many maps TF2 will have out of the box.

My guess is it gets the DoD:S treatment, and gets.. 4?

Pricing is fine with me. Three games for $39.99 is a steal.
