Championship Finals Start on Saturday

Christmas is approaching and you know what that means? No, it doesn't mean presents, nor does it mean cookies. It means that the CPL 2006 Championship Finals are beginning this Saturday.

The CPL 2006 Championship Finals, sponsored primarily by AMD and ATI, will open its doors to the public at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 16, 2006. This event has already attracted over 500 competitors from 30 different countries and 2,500 spectators from 58 different countries.



Although online passes for the event have completely sold out, $10 spectator passes will be available at the door. Children under the age of 12 can enter the event free of charge, but only if accompanied by an adult.

There will also be the VGL open tournaments at the event for games such as Guitar Hero II, Gears of War, and Rainbow Six Vegas, among others. For more information, feel free to visit the event page for the Finals.
