Caffeine could possibly make things worse. Instead of making wise decisions, such as baiting an enemy to come into the bombsite, you might just rush after them, and get yourself killed.

He was mentioning Proformance enhancer's, real athletes, actually have to avoid completely leagle products. The guy even mentioned how they had banned some substance which's name has slipped his mind as it was rumoured to help proformance, yet its seems the product was completely legal.
The reason it's not banned is because caffeine is a legal substance that anyone of any age can buy whereas ritalin is a prescription drug. Are you seriously that stupid or what? They can't ban anything that is legal to everyone, and if you don't see the difference legally between abusing a prescription drug and using a non-restricted legal drug then you're a huge idiot.
Also, I haven't actually noticed doing better after drinking a lot of energy drinks or else I'd drink them like crazy at lans. As for making money on energy drinks, last winter they gave them away instead of selling them.Diamond Dust wrote..
I was getting at, "how serious can you get playing computer games?"
Thats what I was getting at, if they want to be taken a bit more seriously, this certainly is a step in that direction.Comment

Seems a little rediculous if not intrusive. Sounds like an ignorant "Drugs are bad, mmmmmkay" policy, and forcing their own morals on the players participating in the CPL. I'd have to agree with acidsnow on most points.
While I agree that drugs can potentially be harmful both to you and the competition, nicotine and alcohol are two of the worst offenders as far as their damage to the human body and they are legal. It is not the CPL's place to enforce the law, but it is of course their place to try and hold a safe and fair competition. Now some poor guy/girl that enters and stays 100% sober for the entire competition might loose his winnings or even the chance just to compete because he smoked a joint the week before with his buddies back home, and tests positive for THC. Meanwhile some tweaked out 15 year old the CPL helps market engery drinks to, has consumed enough of them to potentially cause him/herself harm, and can play through the tournament within their rules.
Just some thoughts... I think the CPL may be going a little overboard here, and it won't really have any positive impact. Going back the legal thing agian: system flush drinks are also legal, and they do work. If somebody wants to be high while playing they can be, and still pee clean when they are done playing.

LMAO! Oh my god, CPL Drug Tests. I have official heard the dumbest thing ever. First if your smoking meth, CS is the least of your problems. Second who's taking the time to find and take drugs to make they're finger click faster??? And weed...My sweet green grass poses no threat except making you docile and less agressive. Kids, don't use drugs, it's only a game. Now if you excuse me I have a Bowl and an AK with my name on them.Comment
