I'm a few days late, but that's what a busy weekend will bring about! Without any further delay, here is the Steam news update for November 3rd.
This past week we played host to a number of editors from the hardware press to share our plan for taking advantage of multicore CPUs in the next few months. Bit-Tech and ExtremeTech have posted their recap of the event so far, and there should be stories showing up at other outlets over the next few weeks.Good job Robin! Enough play time though, Team Fortress 2 waits for no man. In other news, once you're done watching The Departed, you should probably follow it up by watching Borat. It's probably the hardest I've laughed at a movie in a long time. It's a good thing Fox decided to have such a limited opening (837 theaters). I bet they're kicking themselves for that one all the while congratulating themselves for kicking Santa Clause 3's ass. Seriously, why is there a third movie in that series? Why was there even a second movie?

The holidays also appear to have come early here at Valve, where the team at Taito has delivered to us our very own Half-Life 2: Survivor arcade machine. Most of us are enjoying the game immensely. But earlier today, Robin Walker took a break from working on Team Fortress 2 to play HL2 Survivor — his game ended almost immediately, and he blamed his crushing defeat on the game's lack of a mouse and keyboard. We just thought you should know.
