CPL Korea Details Announced

The CPL has just unveiled their plans for their CPL Korea event.

The Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) and International E-Sports Group Inc (IEG) are proud to announce the details for the upcoming CPL Korea event, which is a part of the CPL World Season that culminates at the CPL Championship Finals held in Dallas, TX. Only a Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament will be hosted and the first and second place teams will be flown to Dallas, TX for the $100,000 Counter-Strike tournament at the CPL Championship Finals.



The CPL Korea Pre-Qualifier will take place on November 17th at a PC Café in Seoul to determine the top four teams. Then competitions between the top four teams will be broadcasted on Korean TV on three separate episodes starting November 22nd. The CPL Korea Finals will be held on December 6th, where the top two teams will be crowned and earn air travel to Dallas and better tournament seeding from CPL officials.
