Steam Friends Down

This was mentioned on the Steam news page, and I figured it'd be worth mentioning here. The Steam Friends service will be down tomorrow for a few hours.

The Friends functionality in Steam will be unavailable from 7am PST on October 31st, 2006 for around 4 hours. Other Steam services will be unaffected.

Here's where everyone makes the joke: "Steam Friends is down? As if that's anything new! El Oh El." We get it.



In other news, I'm cranking out the finishing touches on my review of the Counter-Strike Zboard. Expect that review later this week here!

I use it, works fine (provided some reappearance of some past Cyber Cafe stuff gets fixed on my account).

I just don't understand what took so long to get it this far. In the Steam beta or whatever it worked fine, then just stopped working one day.

Haha, I really liked the name Tracker, but I was always hoping they'd go with my suggestion of "Stalker" instead.

I used it a lot back when it worked, back in Steam Beta. Since it broke, it's been useless.

I used to use it a heck of alot when it worked then that day came where it vanished and xfire filled the spot, since then I have not managed to add people to friends like I did back then I guess I just cbf getting there details and adding them compared to the old days where u could just add them through player list.
