    TF2 Gameplay Rumors

Apparently the latest issue of Game Informer has an interview with Valve's Doug Lombardi. In the article, one can find some mighty fine pieces of information. As I haven't gone to the store yet to verify any of this, I'm filing these under the category of "RUMOR" for now.
    • Scouts have a "sharking" ability. That is, they can run across bodies of water if up to speed.

    • Engineers create turrets, ammo boxes, and health dispensers.

    • Medics still have the conc grenade.

    • HW's weight impacts how far he is tossed around by grenades.

    • The spies will be able to disguise themselves and feign deaths.
I'm running to the store later. If they have the latest issue of GI there, I'll try and pick it up to verify these bits. For now, enjoy the latest round of TF2 news I found.

as long as they leave the fricking teleporter out, nothing they add could possibly anger me.

I hope the spy can go invis like in one of the trailers. To be fair I haven't played TFC since I started playing CS years ago so maybe I'm wrong, but I can't imagine "disguising' yourself as the other team is going to work in this day and age of voice chat and competitive gaming, it's too obvious.

Yeah, and maybe an engineer can build something that will make them uninvisible or something to counter it. (just an idea)

You must have stopped playing pub servers too.

Yeah... the ol disguise is still pretty lethal in pubs. Of course, that's the only capacity I play TFC in. Snipers are still their target of choice.

To be fair, the much wider audience is the average pubber, who probably doesn't even use or own a microphone. I've never really played TFC that much, but I can't imagine the usual team of pubbers being able to effectively communicate enough to makes spies useless, and even if they were, I don't expect the other half to even listen.
