Portal seems to be the center of attention recently, and that really isn't a bad thing. The most recent showing of Portal technology can be found courtesy of TeamXbox.
There is now also a HD version of the X06 Portal footage (previously mentioned here). If you want to view the HD goodness, then head on over to GameTrailers.com and scroll down a bit. There you will be able to see the full X06 trailer in both hi-def and "GT TV" formats. Correction: This is new footage and not merely an updated version of the IGN footage.
Our meeting with Valve rapidly came to an end but we were happy to see Half-Life 2 and Portal up and running on the Xbox 360. Even more exciting was to see the game’s main menu where there was a button for Half-Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2! Unfortunately, Team Fortress 2 wasn’t playable on the show but Kim Swift assured me to me the game is working at Valve’s offices; in fact, she commented that every time there is a Team Fortress 2 play test, the whole office stops to give it a try.There really aren't too many additional details about Portal in the preview, but it's still worth the quick read anyway.
