Angel Munoz, of the CPL, has kindly passed along word that the league has recently revised its age policy.
Formerly, the CPL restricted minors under the age of 17, from participating in any international qualifier using ESRB mature-rated games. This year the league will allow 16 year olds to participate in international events hosted by official CPL partners and online qualifiers hosted by the Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL), as long as they will be 17 years of age by the first day of the Championship Finals.Just a little reminder, the CPL 2006 Championship Finals will take place between December 13th and December 17th in downtown Dallas. For the remaining details of this, feel free to read the rest of the press release or head on over to the CPL website.
