I just checked and downloaded the CSN Nat mirror version to my computer again. Works fine. Perhaps your download became corrupted?

Supposidly PureVideo and my GPU are supposed to accelerate HD video but it doesn't?

Only newer videocards have hardware acceleration built into the cards I believe. I know my 6800GT doesn't have that but newer models do. So if it doesn't, you're CPU limited and it may stutter or play horribly due to the video being hi-def.

Like Blinx video, the video is like the actual game and it will make use of ure video card, so if the video runs poor expect the game to also.



a standard to higher spec 6800 is even going to have trouble with episode2. Looking at those screenshots it's rediculous how far the graphics are going and so quickly too. It's getting to a point where they not graphics anymore and just some playable CGI game, not as fun really...

The video is just a video. It's not real-time, it's recorded and is only a video file on your computer. Unless your videocard is newer it won't make much use of the videocard to play the video, but instead it'll use the CPU more.

WOW! I must have watched this trailer over 50 times already!!!!! THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO GAME TRAILER EVER!!! ZOMG!!! So many new technologies being shown in that 1337 pwn4g3 trailer!!! Cinematic physics, which is the most amazing demonstration of physics in a video game I've ever saw! WOW!!! The way the concreate on the bridge fall apart seamlessly is just amazing!! You can't even see lines or shit on it! Its like it will happen differently everytime you play! WOW!! And the way the metal beams fall apart and twist and bend due to the stress bought on is just wow!! I've never saw anything like this in any other video game! VALVe is the best!!! The bending and twisting look soo realistic!! It doesn't even look like a scripted event!!! That flash of light and the shockwave is soo beautiful! The way it light up the whole world is spectacular! The shockwave special effect is really mind blowing! AND OMG!!! I've notice the new lighting and shadowing system at work!! It makes everythign light up more naturally now!!! WOW!! The graphical improvments on the models are undescribable! The vortigaunt look soo beautiful with all the luster and smooth extra detail on it! The way the model reflects light is so realistic! Looks like you can actually feel the bump on the vortigaunt! Oh and the big open world! Amazing! Can't wait to play on them big open wooded areas and ambush a strider with an RPG from up on them hills! The way the Source Engine can render all those trees and foliage make the open areas a sight to behold! Such a big beautiful world! LOVE BIG OPEN AREAS!!! WOW!! Those Hunters are going to be a bad ass enemy! They are going to flank your ass and shoot you with pulse blasts and pound you to the ground with its body! I found the Hunter's new greenish blue hue on its armor to be extremely beautiful!! Hunter's look soo awesome! Man I can't wait to buddy up with a fellow Vortigaunt and go down in that Antlion cavern and just pwn ever n00b antlion that gets in our way!! The Vortigaunts electrical attacks are soo powerful! It's ground pounding electrical shock attack is like the most powerful attack I've ever seen of any creature in the HL universe! Maybe it can even kill an Antlion Guard with 1 hit!!! Can't wait to go into the caverns! Maybe we can witness the return of the Antlion King! I LOVE YOU VALVe!!! You are the best!! Keep up with your legendary work on EP2 and Portal and TF2!! Can't wait to play EP2 and Portal! Keep making those 1337 uber awesome technologies for the Source engine and leave teh game industry behind like what you did with HL and HL2 and EP1!! <3 VALVe t0 t3h m4x0rZ!!1
