Half-Life 2: Survivor

Taito recently put out a new arcade game based on Half-Life 2. If you couldn't tell by the news headline, it's called Half-Life 2: Survivor. Huh? I really do not know what to make of this one.

I am a little more than hesitant about any game with the word "Survivor" in its title after the mess that was Resident Evil: Gun Survivor. With any luck, this will be a worthy and welcome addition to arcades.

I guess Zips forgot the screenshots with the cyborg anime girl who has weird tentacle sex with Breen, and the ending "MEKAGOJIRA" boss?



But honestly, that HUD looks so redundant in places. OK, so you need an ammo bar AND a numeric ammo counter? And you need TWO sets of diagrams to switch weapons? And what about the health, where there is both a number AND a bar?
