    A Detailed Look at Valve's 2006 Lineup

Chris Remo from Shacknews had the honor of attending EA's press conference yesterday in which Valve dropped some mighty impressive news. Today, Remo put together a detailed look at Valve's lineup.
The teaser trailer merely highlighted each class, usually in some kind of humorous situation. Veteran Team Fortress players will recognize all of the nine playable classes: the Heavy, the Spy, the Scout, the Demoman, the Engineer, the Medic, the Sniper, the Soldier, and the Pyro. The colorful and fast-paced montage was accompanied by stylish horn-infused spy movie music--again, think No One Lives Forever or The Incredibles. I'm not sure how the music will be integrated into a team-based multiplayer game--if at all--but I can't wait to find out.
There's certainly plenty of detailed information to be found right here including detailed impressions of Portal, Episode 2, Team Fortress 2, and a brief mention of the 360 and PS3 versions of Episode 2 (which will presumably be accompanied in a bundle deal with Episode 1, Half-Life 2, and the additional games that are packaged with the episodic releases thus far).

If Ep2 costs only $20 then it's a great deal.

Valve has released a single piece of artwork from Team Fortress 2, a shot of each player class' character model. The company announced that a trailer for Team Fortress 2, as well as trailers for Portal and Half-Life 2: Episode Two, will be coming next week.
