Some of you remember Cheating-Death, right? It was that anti-cheat program that never played nicely with VAC, required a constant update on the client side, and always resulted in a lot of [NO C-D] tags being added to players' names in gldsrc games. There are some people who would swear by its cheat detecting methods saying that it worked better than VAC. Sadly for the program, United Admins decided to take the archaic anti-cheat out back and put it down.
Yes, Cheating-Death is the latest addition to UA's discontinued list. It joins a handful of other programs that include ClanMod, StatsMe, and something called HradBa. This is about where the musical montage would be, complete with highlights of bans issued by Cheating-Death, shots of a server full of [NO C-D] tagged people, and a sequence where someone running C-D couldn't join a VAC-enabled server. We'll miss you Cheating-Death, we'll miss you dearly.
