Episode 1 Released

The first episode of three for Half-Life 2, has just been released!

Half-Life® 2: Episode One is now available via Steam at retail outlets around the world. The first in a new, three-part series that leads far beyond City 17, Episode One does not require Half-Life 2 to play and is available for just $19.95.

Really now, not much else needs to be said. If you wouldn't mind a little extra info, there is always the official Episode 1 website. Restart your Steam clients to finish decrypting the files and get into the game!

I'm really looking forward on how this all plays out!



It took me about 4 mins to decrypt it (3.4GHZ 650 w/h 1GB ddr2-400) and about min or so after it open. There was a bug with friends is still shows BETA. Well off to play!

beat it, liked it, count how many people complain its too short, it'll be humdreds, stop bitching $20 aint bad for 3 sold hours of entertainment cant wait for the next one

Finished it after a little over 4 hours of gameplay on Normal difficulty. That was just damn amazing. Episode 2 needs to come out now.
