CS 1.6 Movie shown at Tribeca Film Festival 2006

Remember the Militia machinima movies? Well, a new film, "Deviation", was released and shown at the Tribeca Film Festival 2006, in front of 4000 people.
The film was written and directed by Jon Griggs of Hard Light Films. Members of FoCA and CoFR were cast to play the role of the four characters and the voices were later added by actors.

    Synopsis:

Macintyre, an online-game character and member of a four-man counter-terrorist squad, attempts to break out of the cycle of futile violence that has been his sole existence.

Dropped into the middle of a mission and faced with the prospect of climbing into an ambush at the end of a manhole tunnel, Macintyre strives to convince the other squad members that there is another way...
The voice acting in particular stands out, and I think the whole film makes a point about the map in which it is set... So sit back and enjoy.

Nicely made, I like CS machinima and that worked well as a less action based story. Voice acting was good, I still love the ridiculous CS mouth movements (especially Leet).

should have used the m3's, if nothing else the posture is much cooler since you hold it shoulder level.

I liked how it was able to make it to a film festival being a computer game film. Thats really awesome and new genre that might catch on :)
