    One is the Loneliest Episode

This song title headline is a bit of a stretch, but you get the idea. IGN is offering up their own Episode One interview this week with one of Valve's marketing men of the millenia, Erik Johnson.
IGNPC: Was the decision to help the city pass on partly motivated by a desire to move the action to a new locale?

Erik Johnson: One of the things we love to do is to change the world in large ways as a result of Gordon's actions. In Half-Life 1, he caused the resonance cascade that opened the portal to Xen, ultimately leading to the Combine invasion of Earth. In Half-Life 2, he sparked the resistance movement and overthrew Dr Breen. In Episode One, Gordon's actions are going to have far reaching repercussions, affecting much more than just City 17.
This interview is one of the better ones I have read lately. There are a number of questions asked (and answers given) that any fan would be interested in. Oh, and you just can't ignore the new screenshots there as well. Enjoy reading the interview while I search for more song titles and lyrics to butcher!

"The G-Man used the events of Black Mesa to transform Gordon into a powerful tool, and he used that tool to overthrow Dr Breen. In Episode One, the G-Man loses control of Gordon due to the rise of a third power. Clearly, he's not very happy about this."

I am looking forward to this part..

Oh, the wit! Heh, I love you, Zips.

Can't wait for Ep1, maybe I'll find a twenty dollar bill on the ground to help pay for it.

I fully blame IGN for having the "c" in the subheading on their article for screwing me up.
