If you're dumb and buy gaming computers from Dell, yeah, you'd be better off wasting your money on a console. However, if you can build your own stuff, you can save a ton of money, and upgrade throughout the years where you're stuck with what you've got for 4 years with consoles. On top of that, most people will buy a PC anyway for other uses, so couple that with some hardware cut out for gaming, and you're looking at spending a similar amount of money, and getting more/better content.

Waisted argument buddy, as I've been building and upgrading my own PC's for more then 15 years, and I've been playing on gameconsoles since 1979.. So where I know what I'm talking about, I seriously doubt you do..



(just as that other idiot in these comments that thinks the Xbox 360 doesn't sell just because he and his small bunch of friends don't want it.. To give him a clue, Microsoft has just upped their expected Xbox 360 salefigures for their 1st fiscal year from 3.5 million to over 5 million units.. Not bad for a console that supposedly doesn't sell..)

I just put in another gig of ram, a radeon X850 256mb, and a second hard drive at 120GB, which all cost me less than $400, so less than a 360 with a hard drive, and I've got a much better selection of games, which I can also potentially get for free.



And that'd be a good value even if I only used it for gaming, which I don't.
