World eSports Rankings

The center of the known eSport universe, GotFrag, recently put together a nice comparison of the top competing countries currently involved in the Counter-Strike eSport scene.

In order for eSports and Counter-Strike to grow globally there must be a sense of rivalry and importance tied to matches between all nations. For this and other reasons a complex system of point totals has been created to display a ranking of nations. Based on the model of FIFA's World Ranking, this ranking system will create more interest and rivalry in nations play.

The system may sound a little complicated at first, but it's fairly easy to follow once you get a grasp of those silly things called "numbers." Where exactly does your country stack up against the rest? Go find out!
