Who cares who does it as long as they do it i couldnt care less, ATM its like they dont care or want to address any issues and just want to add more things to the game that the community couldnt care about...

Its not that hard to fix some minor bugs that could make css so much better ! If they only listened to the community...

Off the top of my head it would be great if they fixed...

    Spec money bug

    Shot gun power

    Defuse bug

    Crouch height

Sound problems ( like hearing people reload next to you when no one is there )

    Disable cl_interpolate from being changed

Map change bug or Map freeze bug ( Im not %100 sure if its a cs or mani mod bug though )

    SourceTV

mp3 player could be fixed to work

    SERVER FAVOURITES MENU

    VAC2 ( needs a good update )

And all them "missing file" errors in console that just randomly happen even when u install the game fresh

Its not that much to ask for at lease some of them to be fixed and it would truely help CSS grab back all them people who went back to 1.6 because frankly 1.6 should be dead already.

Dont get me wrong they do a great job but it just seems like CSS is a early beta stage unlike the days when u could download a 300mb file and not have to update for a the next 4-6 months

I love the new skins and new maps and can understand theres heaps of things on there plate but I just cant understand why they keep adding more stuff while they ignore the amout of problems the game has at the moment.

Anyway bring on more updates and bug fixes!

    cheers

quite frankly, I couldn't care less about CSS getting HDR. It's not like HDR will do anything to fix the millions of bugs in source.

woop dee doo. hdr. i personally don't care if it's HDR or not. i would rather have them to fix them bugs instead.
What is WRONG with you people?! Man, sucks to be Valve with a community full of whiners who don't even understand or appreciate more content and what it takes to develop a game. How many other game developers regularly add to their games? How many update and apply fixes as often as Valve?

And don't anyone dare try playing the 'omg they need to listen to the community more' card. That is the most retarded statement ever. Valve is one of the most community dedicated developers out there. They regularly follow and post in community sites. And oh, what's this?

            http://www.halflife2.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1298

How many other software company execs regularly respond to email recieved from fans and misc. gamers they don't even know?

Now the obvious arguement now is 'How come they're releasing maps instead of fixing the bugs we complain about?' Duh. I'm surprised you people don't get this: MAPPERS AREN'T NECESSARILY PROGRAMMERS. People have DIFFERANT jobs. Y'know, like they specialize and work one field of game development. The mappers work on mapping, the programmers work on programming. Not too hard to grasp, is it? While the programmers are giving attention to and working on the bugs, the mappers do what they do and release new content. Jeepers, at least they're doing it all for free updates rather than a paid for add-on. *Cough*EA*Cough*

So get over it, play the game or don't. Whining about something they're already aware of doesn't make much of a differance. Find a good server with good people who don't exploit the problems, and have fun. Oh wait, that's the problem isn't it? The CS community is too full of jerks like us for anything like that to ever happen.

Call me a fanboy or whatever you want. Just think things through before complaing.

I do not undrestand the push for HDR with the mapping team. If hdr was about 15% more noticable then rock on. I rather see some good maps or some more ported over to source well, like vertigo or some good vip maps now that the mod is done and works.

I would REALLY like valve to fix the spec bug, I get it EVERY single time I play CS, atleast once a map, sometimes much, much more. I remeber ages valve said they fixed it, and admittedly it did get better, but it still happens FAR to often.

Okay, we get it.. mappers aren't coders. Great. So that begs the question, what the fuck are the coders doing?

So uh, about RO. From the looks of the trailer, it looks very promising but the maps look dull and bland. There doesn't seem to be a lot of activities going on either.

I was planning to pre-order it but watching the new trailer is giving me second thoughts.
