Cry more inferno, really, I'll buy you some tissues. They key word is free WEEKEND, they aren't donating the game to people, they're giving them essentially a timed demo of the game so they'll be so thrilled with it that they'll buy it. I really thought the 'Valve sucks' bandwagon lost its wheels a while ago but obviously not.

yeah really, washuplushie has a great point. why dont you go hop on the HATE EA. bandwagon, if your so much of a pesamist. they could have not made dod:s they could have not supported their games. they could have not gave us a free weekend. get a life and some tissues inferno, seriously grow up.

The intellect of a small child with the mouth of a pirate... not a pleasant combination at all.

I, for one, look forward to a surge of new players to run in waves together towards their doom at the hands of my trusty machine gun emplacement. Come, my little cannon fodders, shoot for that objective. Charge my hill. I'll be waiting for you... >:)

EA is releasing a stand-alone DoD:S box in stores this week, so the timing is fine.

Inferno: Going to complain about companies that offer up freebies to entice new customers? Try your hand at complaining to Blizzard as well, or any other company that offers up a demo in any form.

Hey, smart move on VALVe's part. Something like this wouldn't have been feasible without Steam.

Too bad it's no good for me and my 56k connection. Heck, I can't even play vanilla CS 1.6 without random spiking to 800 ms and I'm paying in spades for my dial-up ISP. I have no idea how Nighthawk does it... =/
                                ...HOW?!
