Glad they are getting round to fixing it. But as others have said x-fire has filled the void, and to be honest I wont be using it. Seems like a case of closing the door after the horse has bolted.

I could have sworn css was still beta... I mean new errors each day nothing saves and bugs but the dozens, it has to be beta dosnt it??



Friends would have been awsome if they left it from teh start, xfire filled the void and has taken over. So i think friends is pretty useless other than the fact u can add people directly from the game.

It's not the bandwidth used, but the codec.

At least Valve are nice enough to call it a beta this time.



BTW you cannot get into zBlock secured CS:Source servers currently with the Beta Client, you will get an "Disconnect: Kicked by Console : Illegal Alias In Use." error message.

friends will work for all steam games...

Xfire works perfect for ALOT of games. Why cant they fix 'friends' to work w/ a hanfull?
