Heck, these didn't even make Skin of the Week the way things have been going around here lately! Fortunately not all is lost, and if you're dying to keep the Christmas spirit flowing through your dark, dreary life, then don't forget about the instant hit (not even kidding) of last year's Santa-Suited Terrorists pack. I, for one, still use that pack for my terrorists, even if I do think Christmas is a silly and trite pagan observance. There, now everyone should have something to say in the comments.

Haha, i like the santa models. Cant say the same for the latest update of gun models.

i wish when you give a skin update you give a rating of at least 7 im tired of seeing every skin update it either has a rating of 4,5 and 6

Generally, if we give something a 7, it's good enough to be featured as our Skin of the Day. For every gem, we have to sort through a lot of utter crap. Updates are a way of us quietly adding a stack of models to the archives which are either only slightly different from what we already have, or (more often) simply have a limited appeal.



The fact that someone submitted each and every one of these suggests that there are people who like them. Simply put, I don't receive a consistant stream of high-quality models to test out, so you get the SOTD as often as I see a cool model, and you get skin updates with the rest of what I test out -- models which aren't exceptional, but aren't horrible either... and thus the typical scores between four and six. Usually I'll just delete anything I'd give a 3 or under to, if it's really that awful.
