I just played through the demo, and wow, I am definitely thinking about purchasing the full version. Maybe when I have some free time to play thorugh it. Very awesome.

If you're gonig to talk about other games other then CS then change your name like CSBANANA did.

It's an alright game, but I don't really think it should be covered on a CS fansite, unless you make this all Steam.

krad1234, posting the exact same thing in multiple comments threads is called spamming, and we don't encourage that around here.

no. all they're doing is posting news. CSBanana started hosting skins and models for different games. so they changed it to FPSBanana.

I do agree with krad1234. A lot of people I know that use to visit this website have gradually become more hesitant visit these days, as all of the provided Counter-Strike information is clouded over by extravagant, general steam information.

Yes, CSNation provides the option to filter certain topics, but--obviously--most people are not aware of this. Perhaps if, by default, user preferences (anonymous/guest OR registered) were set to authorize only Counter-Strike information, this would not be a problem; those visiting CSNation to obtain information pertaining to "the future of Counter-Strike"--not steam, ragdoll kungfu, or darwinia--would get just that information. Likewise, they would not have to somehow arbitrarily stumble upon the news preferences filter option to let alone realize it is possible to repudiate Non Counter-Strike Info.

In addition, when Valve compliments Counter-Strike updates with other game updates, CSNation denotes such composite news in the steam category, and, thus, those who filter out general steam information lose out on much Counter-Strike info (the sole reason they come to this website).

I realize that newsworthy Counter-Strike information is not as proliferate as it use to be in the so called hayday of the game (Actually, I'm not really sure if it is or isn't as abundant, as all of the Counter-Strike information that I've ever obtained was from CSNation). In turn, I can also see why it is tempting to encompass all around Valve information, or anything even remotely associated with the game, as a substitute. But, and tell me if I'm wrong, I think most people come to this website to get the "in depth scoop" on Counter-Strike information; CSNation use to be this years ago. Nowadays, it seems like any old Steam info is given the same priority as Counter-Strike info.

This is just my opinion on this matter. I don't ask that CSNation change their policies or attributes of their website, but just that they acknowledge this sort of reoccuring frustration that often comes from people.

I don't see the big deal. CS-only news is so sparse/slow that there'd never be anything to see if they didn't supplement the information and diversify like they do now.

CSN can't be blamed if people are too lazy to use the filters.

CS isn’t how it used to be. Right now it’s very slow and really nothing much is happening with CS that hasn’t been posted already. CS-Nation at one time used to do a great job keeping up with all the information for CS, and till this day they still do a great job, However in order to keep this site active they need to post other news from other games. I think for a short time CS-Nation was not active because there wasn’t enough news going around about CS, which is why I think they decided to start posting about other things. Or it might have been Half-Life 2 that started the merge with other topics unrelated to CS. So if you don’t like the fact that you go to "CS-Nation" to find little information about CS and find more information on other games then too bad. I recommend you start doing something to make CS once again as active as it used to be so CS-Nation could have a lot more topics to write about.

However I recommend to CS-Nation they do some fun things too, like I don’t see Rizzuh’s corner anymore, or those crappy flash animations CS-Nation used to have, Counter crap I think it was called. Also why is Zips always posting news? No offense to you Zips, you’re great but where are DchozN, Rizzuh, puffycloud and everyone else?? Did you all quit on us?

And as I clearly stated above, I realize these things. Likewise, it's not that people are "too lazy" to use filters. It's that people don't know they exist, and also that Counter-Strike updates are often merged with Steam updates, making hose who filter out non-Counter-Strike news miss out on updates.
