    Darwinia Released

The release of Darwinia has finally arrived. Rather, it arrived about two and a half hours ago, but still.
Introversion's Darwinia is now available to gamers worldwide via Steam. Darwinia is a captivating mix of multiple genres including real-time strategy, arcade, and puzzle games. Click here to get your copy now.
Those of you who have pre-ordered and pre-loaded, there will just be a very small download and you'll be ready to play. Those left in the cold but wishing to grab a piece of the Darwinia RTS goodness, there's the demo still, and the ability to purchase immediately.

The music is great, visual graphics are funkylicious, and the gameplay is fun. The game's only $20, it's a pretty good deal.

There's no doubt that if you really enjoy the demo, it's definitely worth the $20 they're asking. The nice thing is that the demo is just a click away. Convenient? Oh yeah.

One thing, though... I am really finding myself wanting to be able to sort the games on my Steam list, as I'm not really sure I like 3rd party games showing up between Counter-Strike Source and Day of Defeat.

I am glad they did a demo for this because I found out that I am not interested. I wish they would do a demo for Rag Doll Kung Fu so I can see if that is worth it or not.

Yes, but some of us would actually have to spend money to play this, so your opinion doesn't count.

Believe me, I'd easily throw down the $20 for this game. My friends were gathered around me as I was playing it, and at the beginning one said, "Know what you need? Grenades."

...Then I got the grenades. It's a really fun game so far. And no offense to Marcos Healey but, Darwinia > RDKF.

Under each day notice, is a link called Customise News & Profile. Click it, and theres a block of tick boxes to allow news. Uncheck "Steam Updates" and you'll never be bothered again by "unrelated" news.

Hey, darwinia just crashed on me. First time I got rockets and tried to use them it crashed saying could not find sound "rocket" or something similiar. Anyone else have this problem? It's at the beginning of the yard mission where he tells you to work on the weapons platform.

*EDIT* I found the fix on the darwinia forum, all's well.
