I found every character funny in their own way. You've got Kyle silently taking abuse most of the time, but then pulling out the Martin Scorsese lines on gamer girl. You've got a whole bunch of stereotypical characters, ranging from Dave as the token asian to Doug as the eccentric FPS player, but each exagerates their part to levels which make them parody, rather than just canned parts.



I mean, seriously, Jeremy walking around practicing his über-micro in an effort to pick up chicks, and at the end watching the instant-replay... all with Kyle switching to cutscenes of interviews with various girls about their view of girls...



Yeah, I guess each person's sense of humor is different, but I couldn't help but laugh my way through most of these. Sure, a few times throughout were dull, including most of Jeremy's addiction to WoW, but it had an amusing element even through that simply because I've watched friends go down a similar (though less extreme) path before. About the only time that seemed so forced that I didn't enjoy it was with the "deathstriker6666" element at the LAN party in Ep. 8.



Aside from that, though... yeah, it was fake, and way over the top, but that made it all the more funny in my mind. Seeing guys like this without them going way over the top would be just like another day back in high-school or something.



Anyway, great series in my opinion, but think what you like. As for me, all be going around another corner, and then you know what's gonna happen?

FPS Doug is funny with the whole BOOM HEADSHOT stuff, etc...



he is a good character...



but most of the other stuff is lame... I tried watching their movies. They are mostly quite boring and lack humor except for the scenes with Doug. They should stick to the stuff with FPS Doug, that is what they are known for. I don't care about that other dork. He is not funny at all.

i find it funny because i dont say that stuff, the way i see it theyre making fun of those people.

I don't particularly like FPS Doug... but the main guy (C&C Zero Hour fanatic) makes me smile. His willingness to self-mock (uber-micro) is great.

They are funny, not side-splitting tell the world funny, but still pretty damn funny.

I think that is their ambition.
