Again, because they aren't pictured, doesn't mean they won't come this month.

Wow, I never thought they could faithfully recreate the models, but then again l33tkr3w is going to be difficult.

Nuke looks good, but I can tell it's going to be a resource hog like Inferno and Assault.

Who the hell cares if it's a power plant instead of warheads, both are nuclear. Both could take out a city with a bomb.

If Valve can do such great things with models, scenery, HDR, etc. and so on, why after all these years do all the player models have such sharp edges?

They still all appear to be made of Lego's for chrissakes! That's my one fury... it seems a relatively (when compared to something such as HDR) simple task to make them smoother.

Are they ever going to come out with a HiRes P and W gun models? Now that the player and Maps look so much better.

              Looks neat.

Though, I can imagine how it will play.

I'm surprised nobody has commented on the Guerilla and GIGN models... oh wait... I just have....

What does a Guerilla eat for lunch? Guerillad cheese sandwiches. (with apologies to the Kids of Degrassi Street)

Doesnt have the same charming rocky style that the original nuke had.

Looks like port and compound, eugh.

I wouldn't judge it by one picture.

That's for sure, but to remind you of Valve's quote in your own article :
The map should be ready to go in a few weeks, and the new player models will show up shortly after Nuke is made available.
                            (emphasize is mine)

It's hard to expect a release of the player models this month when 'in a few weeks' put de_nuke's release at the end of the month for the better and 'shortly after' in Valve's dictionnary could mean between 1 week and 1 year.

For the coming two months, I expect them to release a screen capture every week of each player model (the 6 missing) before they release them for good.

You know, to save time while they are busy playing Civ4 instead of finishing their damn game.

Not that I care, CS1.5 is still fine by me to the point I never considered installing steam.

stop bitching if you don't like revisions of old maps.
Why? I can't bitch, but I can praise?
it's not the original, it's a remake, and as such is going to be and has every right to be different.
..obviously. Difference isn't a bad thing, as long as it's done well. Inferno, train, dust2 were not done well, and were botched. Of course, this is all just my opinion, but I was never mad that the maps weren't exactly the same as their 1.6 counterparts.

Valve are the biggest bunch of pissants. They've got the engine coding finished. They have 90% of the resources to make new maps, espcially Aftermath, finished. It would take an afternoon of real work to get the models out the door tomorrow.
