If you've been uninterested in playing the 2004 single player game of the year (read: Half-Life 2) and have been holding out strictly for Counter-Strike: Source, your wait is over. A Steampowered news release states that both Counter-Strike: Source and the Half-Life 1: Anthology are currently shipping to retail stores.
Valve Corporation today announced that Counter-Strike™: Source™ and the Half-Life® 1: Anthology are available now at retail outlets in North America. From what I have seen, CS: Source looks to retail for $40 (USD) and Half-Life 1: Anthology is around $20 (USD).
In addition to the latest version of the world's number 1 online action game, Counter-Strike: Source also includes Half-Life 2: Deathmatch and Day of Defeat®: Source, the latest version of the popular WWII online action game from Valve. Meanwhile, the Half-Life 1: Anthology includes the original game, which earned over 50 game of the year awards and launched a franchise with over 15 million retail units sold, plus Half-Life: Opposing Force®, Half-Life: Blueshift®, and Team Fortress® Classic. Both products will ship to territories worldwide in the coming weeks.
