  • CEVO Season 2

CyberEvolution has opened registration for the second season of play. Not only do they have a new site but they have announced a few changes to the way things are done over there based on feedback they received from all of you. One major change is the deletion of all accounts. This means that if you had an account, or if you want one now, you still must make a new one. All members of CEVO are still required to pay the small fee of $15 per person per season, a fee I consider small to the level of quality you receive from the league and it's famous anti-cheat team which caught a record number of cheaters last season as you all know.

The prize breakdown is as follows:
    • $12,400 for professional

    • $5,000 for main

    • $2,500 for intermediate

    • $1,000 for amateur

    • Total of $20,900 in prize money
[break="even more CEVO? you know it!"]Along with a new site and a new season there are 4 divisions to CEVO this year, each playing on a different night of the week so you never miss a match! Although registration is open, you may only apply for amateur and intermediate, although applications are being accepted for consideration for main.
All skill divisions will compete once per week at 9:00 PM for their respective night, time zone and region. In other words, the Eastern Region default time is 9:00 PM EST; the Central Region default time is 9:00 PM CST; the Western Region default time is 9:00 PM PST.

Default match days are as follows:

    Amateur: Monday

    Intermediate: Tuesday

    Main: Thursday

    Professional: Wednesday

The event will kick off with one (1) week of preseason on September 12th, followed by seven (7) weeks of match play beginning on September 19th. The event map rotation will be announced shortly, and good luck to all teams.
For more information check out CyberEvolution's site here!

It is with great pleasure and excitement that we launch our new website and open registration for CEVO Event 2 from 3PM PST (6 EST) Monday August 22nd to 11:59PM PST (2:59 EST) Sunday September 5th.
Sounds like registration has actually been open since Monday.

Anyway, can't wait to play in CEVO again. First season was good, but they had some problems with the CMN... hopefully it will be all fixed up by now. Should be well worth the $15.
