Warcraft 3 XP Updated

As I've probably said before, I rarely never get into arguments like this but I'm bored so I decided to step into this one. The imaginative portion of this mod is great, but adding it into a completely different game isn't too bright and not too attractive to most (not all). If you want to play Warcraft, then go play it, but don't put it into Counter-Strike. Don't get me wrong though, I'm so glad CS-Nation is posting more "in general" news posts, keeping the community up to date. WC3 is a great idea, but as Scanner said, it should definitely be its own, standalone mod.



This may sound crazy but a real, enthusiastic CS player would say the same:

"Counter-Strike isn't a game; it's war" and obviously in war, there is no WC3 nonsense.

WC3 is pretty god fun if you get into it, makes a change from the boring crap that happens in a normal round.

It was a half constructive criticism it should have been. Mostly just rants and whining which no one but haters care about.

Would you rather have had him using smaller words that you would have a much easier time comprehending? It was a damn good post, and it WAS constructive all the way. We don't need your subjective ass to act all patriotic to a mod that makes no sense. I also love the way you broke up all your paragraphs to match it up to look like a long, informative post. Sorry, mate, you failed in deconstructing such a 'ridiculous opinion'.

I dislike the WC3 servers but as long as they all keep "WC3" somewhere in their server name I can deal. When it becomes impossible to avoid them is when I'll have to start killing fools.

yep i agree.

ive had tons of fun hours playing wc3 mod, and the server was always full which shows it is still popular, despite what you think.

it does break the monotony of CS a little bit, and its refreshing to see a change in the game. and no having new maps doesnt change things much. youve played 10 CS maps, youve played em all i say..

i dont see the point in complaining about wc3 servers, most are clearly marked as "wc3" or have "xp" in their name.



guys (n gals) why be so bitter about a harmless mod that people actually enjoy playing? its a computer game ffs, youre not saying you take CS seriously are you? :) cmon, time to grow up.



oh i remmeber the days when i would get max level as a blood elf, and would be practically invinsible as the "just joined wc3" players took pot shots at me, how can you say theres no fun in building up XP and being a killing machine..



its almost like..um..

Good way of showing the public how insecure you are. Since you had nothing good to say, you had to just put your head in your ass and wigle your arms in hoping you'll hit something.

Our community runs on wc3 mods alone.

Looking at our stats, hitting up to 10.000 connections to our servers daily, having more then 500.000 unique players on our servers over the past half year, kinda indicates not everyone hates wc3 for cs.

The idea is that it creates an extra demention to the game. More abilities etc, if it were not for this kinda mods i would have quit playin cs a looong time ago...

WC3 is probably the reason I still play today, 5 years after starting. Revived my interest in this and vanilla CS when it came out.



It's an entertaining diversion, gives you something to aim for other than the round win + extra cash, and is plain fun.
