Doesn't much matter to me though, so long as Valve continues to have better software support than Dice, I'll be happy.

Yeah, it's what I'm saying. Valve could probably cut their updates in half and still have better support. The uninstalling and then reinstalling was just absolutely absurd. The memory leak shouldn't have even been there in the first place. Even the hotfix patch was a little off. In some instances it required more than 2GB of free HDD just to install (from posts at totalbf2.com), and upwards of 20+ minutes. I guess I lucked out when I installed my hotfix, but still.
