    Source CAL-I Season 2 Results

The second season of the Counter-Strike: Source CAL Invite has just come to a close and GotFrag has all of the details. The final match took place on de_train between the #2 and #1 ranked seeds of teams Skull and PowersGaming. Team Skull ultimately took away the 16-10 victory over PowersGaming.

Skull went up 12-3 in the first half of gameplay and then sealed the deal, picking up their last four victories in the second half. Total blowout? Hardly. PowersGaming kept the match close with seven victories in the second half to give them a total of ten for the match.

Yep, their names automatically make them suck. Idiot.

And speaking of names, you have the worst name in the history of the universe.

CS:S leagues have all unknown. Just because the gameplay is still broken.

CS:S plays fine for me, nothing 'broken'.. I think the problem you have with CS:S is mainly caused by yourself mr. Que.. Just like all the other CS 1.6 fanboys outthere that think nothing will ever beat their precious old version of a game..

Merely because people prefer one version of the game over the other, there is no need to bash the opposing people and the version of their game. If you really feel that threatened by it to have a need to, you need a life.

p.s. cs 1.6 sucks, source is better.

I don't know about you guys, but I have a hard time adapting to change, and generally speaking like things the way they are, aside from minor tweaks here and there. This is true whether you're talking about my apartment, my work schedule, or my videogames.

Actually, I lied, I do know about you guys.

That said, I don't have a problem with CS:S leagues, but I can understand those who are still clutching onto CS1.6, just like those who held on to CS1.3 as long as they could. What I don't understand, however, is the rabid fanboyism attitude that declares anything that's not your preference as the worst thing ever.

Seriously, what's wrong with letting people have a 1.6 league and a CS:S league... everyone's happy that way, right? But no... too many have just got to bash the version they don't like, or alternately just try to pimp BF2 on a CS fansite. Sheesh.
