    Valve Developer Community Launches

Valve has just launched the Valve Developer Community in order to offer a service to both amateur and professional mod creators alike. The page offers overviews of the Source engine, tips for creating your own mod, information about the Source SDK, game distrubution via Steam, and other resources that will help budding mod creators.

Additionally, the page is a Wiki, meaning that members can edit in their own tips and information that will shared with other visitors to the site. The free registration at the page will grant a person access to discussions, additional resources, and online file hosting to house their project. Sounds like a good deal to me!

the lack of comments on this news item, indeed on any news item related to developing on cs-nation, just goes to show that most of the people who use this site are a bunch of leechers, who have never created anything for hl/cs....
